Right Reason

If you watch Meet the Press, notice that the background has changed in recent weeks. The structure in Rockefeller Center is of Prometheus, the Roman god who brought fire to the humans on Earth. A great symbol, to be sure, but many are probably not aware that Karl Marx embraced Prometheus and called him “the greatest saint and martyr of the philosopher’s calendar”; since then, Prometheus has become a general symbol for socialism and communism. Has anyone else noticed this change? I believe Tim Russert would be horrified.
