I guess we are going to have to start over again fighting this war…and IT IS A WAR! The citizens of Hillsborough County, Florida voted overwhelmingly AGAINST light rail in 2010. Apparently, the powers that be think they know better! So…I am going to start combing the news for rail articles and posting what I find.
Here goes:
Indian rail bosses order train drivers to clear bodies off tracks – Looks like they are negatively affecting the schedules!
Train runs through Mae Klong Market in Thailand – Oh yeah! That looks SAFE!
Crowded train in Japan – Your kid can get a new job as a ‘people packer’!
Train coming in India – Tampa Bay area light rail would NEVER affect pedestrians and bicyclists like this, would it?
Mumbai Trains – this is the first stop of the day, so it is most crowded. Pack em and stack em!
