It’s one thing to promote education of diversity and different cultures, but to force parents and students to do this is quite another. Why are we not seeing such field trips to churches and synagogues? The threat of non-participation becoming a part of a student’s permanent record should not be tolerated by parents. We need to protect our children from exposure to such proselytizing. Islam is not a race, it is a religion!
We are seeing this in our local schools in Hillsborough County, where they have permitted a representative of CAIR to speak to high school students without parents even being made aware and permitted to excuse their children.
And then, we have Islamic Society of Tampa Bay Area insisting that Muslim students be excused early on Fridays for prayer, saying if they do not observe it is a sin. It is not, but they have provided parents a letter requesting this for their children.
This is not just happening in the UK, it is also happening in the United States, where leftists continue to fight against any mention of God, and seek to keep traditional religious holiday displays from being viewed anywhere. Why are they not fighting this insertion of the teachings of Islam into our schools?
