As we watch the death throes in Venezuela, a country blessed with many natural resources, we are seeing another failed experiment in Democratic Socialism right before our eyes. A once thriving country whose people now wait hours in line for food, water and goods that might or might not be there. They have free medical care, but no supplies or drugs available. They have gun free zones and crime is everywhere. Desperate people do desperate things to feed their families. Meanwhile, Maduro builds up the military. When the food runs out the only thing left to do is eliminate the useless eaters.
This is what Bernie Sanders stands for… and Hillary Clinton, too, although she is smart enough not to say it.
